Organizing Team

Members of the Organizing Team function collectively as Circus Now’s executive team, coordinating and overseeing the activities of the Action Team and determining the strategic direction of the organization. They also oversee fiscal management and day-to-day operations. Because Circus Now is a national body, representing a diversity of interests, the Organizing Team attempts to incorporate a range of voices from the national community: circus practitioners, teachers, researchers, and artists.

  • Adam Woolley / Managing Director

Adam Woolley coaches circus from his private studio, CircusEdge, in New York City. He’s on the board of Directors for the American Youth Circus Organization and is a co-founder of the New York Aerial Teachers Alliance. He teaches hand balancing, contortion and aerial arts around the country, and dreams of using his BFA in Directing to one day direct an American contemporary circus company.

  • Rainie Themer / Online Director

Rainie Themer takes on the online world for Circus Now. She works as a library assistant at Milner Library at Illinois State University and has a rampant passion for all things circus.

  • Ashley Miglini / Operations Director

Ashley lives Dallas, TX and works in advertising as a Business Manager at The Richards Group, handling the legalities that come with negotiating talent, licensing music and managing all production-related contracts. A former competitive gymnast and dancer, she is also an avid amateur aerialist.

Ashley is also an accomplished Yoga teacher and recently completed a 700+ hour classical Pilates apprenticeship through the Romana’s Pilates program. She credits her passion for circus with her personal and professional successes, because of the way it challenges her mentally, physically and emotionally.

  • Travis Jones

Travis Jones has circus on the brain and helps out Circus Now wherever he’s needed most. He teaches Flying Trapeze and Trampoline in New York City for Trapeze School – New York, where everyday he witnesses circus create meaningful change in people’s lives. He’s drawn to the accessible way circus provides a means to triumph over life’s challenges.
