Youth Circus

  • Prescott Circus Theatre is an Oakland based organization that empowers and engages youth through circus and theater arts education, currently in its 29th season. The heart of the program is the performing company of approximately 25 students from Prescott Elementary School in West Oakland. These 4th and 5th graders commit themselves to a minimum of 9 hours per week of training. This group is well known and loved throughout the community as the “Prescott Clowns.” Through hard work, practice, and careful coaching, they develop the necessary skills to appear at over 50 community events for over 25,000 fans annually.

  • Circus Harmony teaches the art of life through circus education. We work to build character and expand community for youth of all ages, cultures, abilities and backgrounds. Through teaching and performance of circus skills, we help people defy gravity, soar with confidence, and leap over social barriers, all at the same time.
