Asheville NC’s Fox & Beggar Theater is bringing a new concept to the performing arts: ritual cirque nouveau. Using dark, postmodern storylines to house feasts of visual delight onstage, the F&BT’s productions always showcase new forms of circus arts and acrobatics, dance, mask-and-puppetry, original music, technological integration, animation, and stunning set and costume design.
Caroline Calouche & Co. is Charlotte’s only aerial and contemporary dance company and school. CC&Co. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring people of diverse backgrounds to explore beyond their boundaries through performance and education.
Cirque de Vol Studios is a Creative Movement Arts Studio located in the blossoming Warehouse District of downtown Raleigh. We have onsite both an adult studio and kids studio. We offer a variety of fun and challenging programs for both children and adults. These include, but are not limited to, aerial silks, trapeze, acrobatics, yoga, poi, stilt-walking, juggling, laughter yoga, fire dance and certification, hula hoop fitness, hoop dance and belly dance.
Aerial Space is a studio dedicated to the promotion and education of all forms of expressive movement and art. Trapeze, Lyra, Silks, Aerial Dance, Yoga, Acrobalance and … just good clean fun. Our goal is to contribute to the Asheville community by offering both adults and children an outlet for play, self-expression and exercise. We offer a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels from Aerial Kids to Gentle Aerial Yoga. We think everyone should be able to run away and join the circus, if only for an hour.
Asheville Aerial Arts is a group of professional performing artists that explores many different types of movement through aerial arts, dance, acrobatics, juggling, and other disciplines. We are artists, spotters, riggers, trainers, directors, make-up artists, photographers, and administrators that are striving to bring aerial arts to the forefront of the arts community.
Air Born Aerial Fitness offers classes in Aerial Dance and Fitness Classes to build strength, stamina, core, and flexibility.
